Daily maintenance is essential. Daily maintenance is the foundation of equipment upkeep and should be performed before and after each shift. Operators should first clean debris, chips, and coolant from inside and outside the equipment, keeping critical components such as guide rails and lead screws clean. Then, check the lubrication system to ensure sufficient oil at all lubrication points and add the specified lubricating oil or grease as needed. Simultaneously, confirm that the pressure gauge reading is normal, the filter needs draining, and the hydraulic system oil level is within the standard range.
Weekly maintenance should focus on specific areas. A more comprehensive inspection and maintenance should be performed weekly. Pay special attention to cleaning the coolant tank and filter to prevent impurities from affecting cooling. Check for looseness or abnormal wear in the tool magazine, robotic arm, etc., and confirm that the limit switches on each axis are functioning properly. Also, clean the dust filter of the electrical cabinet to ensure effective heat dissipation and prevent damage to electrical components due to overheating.
Monthly maintenance requires more thorough and professional inspection and adjustment. Check that the guide rail slat clearance is appropriate, the axial movement of the lead screw is within the allowable range, and the spindle taper hole accuracy meets the standards. Clean and maintain critical components such as servo motors and encoders, and check for damage to cable sheaths. It's also necessary to back up system parameters and machining programs to prevent data loss and production interruptions.
Standardized operation is also crucial for maintenance.
In addition to regular maintenance, standardized operation is equally important. Operators should strictly follow procedures when using the equipment, avoiding overloading. When clamping workpieces, ensure balance to prevent uneven force on the spindle. During machining, closely monitor the equipment's operating noise and vibration; if any abnormalities are found, immediately stop the machine for inspection. Simultaneously, use qualified cutting tools and cutting fluid to reduce equipment wear and tear at the source.
